Nope! Lumens measure brightness, not watts. Watts just measure energy use. The higher the lumens, the brighter the bulb. That’s why a 10-watt LED can shine just as bright (or brighter!) than a 60-watt incandescent.

False. You just need the right combo: a dimmable LED and a compatible dimmer switch. If your lights flicker or don’t dim smoothly, it’s probably a mismatch—not a problem with the LED.
